Known to the Unknown

Vedanta encourages you to approach God, postulated as the origin of the universe, much like an arithmetic student solving for the unknown ‘X’ in a problem. Education should move from the known to the unknown through established principles. The process should start with you and your experiences. At any point, you must avoid being complacent with limited knowledge of God. John Godfrey Saxe highlights this in his poem ‘The Blind Men and the Elephant’. Each blind man, guided by their limited perspective, ends up imagining the animal as a different and small object, far from its actual size.
